BACK TO SCHOOL NIGHT ON THURSDAY!
Back to school night is Thursday, September 24 at 6:30pm! Come for a “day in the life” of your student! Meet their teachers, walk the halls, and chat with other parents and caregivers.
Leave the kiddos at home - this event is just for is a parent/caregivers.
TIPS: Print out a map of the school and your child’s schedule, or have it already up on your phone for easy reference during the evening. While there will be plenty of 8th grade volunteers and teachers around to direct you, they don’t know your child’s schedule - that’s up to you!
The PTO will have a table outside the auditorium if you have questions about the PTO, and METCO Family/Friends is hosting a post-BTS Night meet & greet in the WMS Cafeteria.

The PTO relies on family donations to fund the complete year-round mission. Your contribution helps augment programs not covered by the school budget that enhance the overall educational experience.

Welcome to the 2026-2027 school year at Wellesley Middle School
Whether you’re returning or new to WMS, we’re thrilled to have you as part of our incredible community. Our Parent Teacher Organization consists of over 50 parent volunteers, and we welcome you to join us.
Throughout the year, we will coordinate community-building events, opportunities to connect, and ways to make our wonderful school even better. From the Turkey Promenade Food Drive to the Mini-Marathon Fun Run around the school, and many other activities in between, we have lots ways to get involved and hope to see you soon.
We look forward to supporting our students, teachers, staff, and families in every way we can to make this a fantastic school year.
